Sarah Boehme
Sarah Boehme

Sarah lives and works on the Mornington Peninsula in regional Victoria in Australia. Her artwork encompasses a wide variety of styles, ranging from soft graphic realism through to sharp, decorative fantasy. Over the 25 years Sarah has been making art she has employed many different techniques and mediums, including pastel, oils, acrylics, mixed media and photography. Her style has evolved to create images that are sophisticated, decorative and stylishly ordered.

Sarah illustrated the Family Pregnancy Calendar, The Book of Pregnancy Weeks, the Karma Bus and a deck of Tarot cards. She has received several awards and prizes for her artwork.

Her subject matter includes fantasy, portraits, still life, flowers, and land and seascapes. Sarah’s art is meticulously observed and rendered, and a spiritual outlook imbues much of her work with a contemplative quality.

Sarah’s art has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Australia, including in Manyung Gallery, Roar Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria. Her work has been purchased by overseas and Australian collectors.

Tor Roxburgh

Tor Roxburgh has been writing about social issues for more than 20 years and is the author of 14 books. In 2008 she was a senior writer and researcher for Australia’s Homeless Children the report of the national Inquiry into Youth Homelessness. She has also written on domestic violence, incest and pregnancy. In August 2008, Community Imprints will be launching her latest book – Returning Home: a workbook for parents considering the return home of a substance using child. Jane Usher
Jane Usher

Jane Usher co-researched and undertook editorial responsibility for the Family Pregnancy Calendar and The Book of Pregnancy Weeks. She works principally as a film editor and has edited a number of feature films. She won an Australian Film Industry award for her work on Original Schtick, directed by Maciej Wszlaki and was nominated for her work on Save Our Sons, directed by Rebecca Maclean.
